I didn’t really “get into” strategy as much as I fell into it. Face first.
A passing comment from an old mentor led me to enroll in the Miami Ad School Strategic Planning Bootcamp, a 10-week intensive class led by some of the sharpest minds in the strategy world. I wasn’t really sure what to make of it. I definitely didn’t expect to…
Well, “fall in love” is probably a bit cliché, but you catch my drift, right?
I was bowled over by the sheer creativity of the work I saw. I stretched my brain in ways I didn’t know it could stretch. I realized how much of my past had been leading up to this—every article, marketing initiative, weird hobby, and Wikipedia rabbit-hole. And at the end of the 10 weeks, I was honoured to be voted Top Dog (top of class) by my professors and fellow bootcampers.
I did a lot of cool work over those 10 weeks, due in large part to the classmates I was privileged to work with and learn from. You can see some of those cases below. And hey—if any of this piques your interest, get in touch! I’d love to chat.
